Our production

Regional, social and with a high-tech coating

How RePan saves local resources, takes social responsibility and protects the environment.

Reintegration through social work

RePan works with Swiss foundations that offer people with physical, mental or intellectual disabilities a safe, supervised workplace. They polish, screw and pack the pans so they are ready for their new life.

Urban mining

RePan relies on regional sustainability. By upcycling intact pans from the region and reusing our customers’ pans, we save resources and protect the environment.

On the one hand, together with recycling centres such as the City of Zurich’s, we sort out intact, high-quality pans that were thrown away. On the other hand, we take back our customers’ pans so they don’t have to be disposed of unnecessarily.

We source raw materials, production equipment and coating companies from Switzerland and the surrounding area, because cooperation is everything. For the environment and the region.

Pan coating – only the best

I know, I know, now you want to know how this new coating works. Well, it’s not that simple – it’s high-tech!

Roughly speaking, the pan has to go into the oven. Before that, everything combustible is removed, the pan is prepared and the old coating is stripped after controlled overheating. A pan blank is born!

Now it gets interesting: a bond is created between the different materials to form the non-stick layer. Many clever minds have developed physical and chemical tricks for this, which experienced surface coaters apply with precision spray guns.

The triple coating in Swiss quality – a second life for your pan. More under Quality.

Award

Swiss Recycling honours the RePan concept

Swiss Recycling is the umbrella organisation of the Swiss recycling systems and stands for high quality, transparency and sustainable development. At the annual Recycling Congress 2025, RePan was nominated as one of 33 concepts and went on to win first place. We are proud that experts named RePan the Swiss recycling idea of the year 2025.
