Question 1

Is the coating PFOA-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our 3-layer coating is free from PFOA, APEO and BPA. It is safe for everyday use and meets foodservice quality standards.

Question 2

Can I clean the pan in the dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

We recommend washing by hand, as the alkaline environment in the dishwasher can attack the metal over time. Occasional machine washing won’t harm the coating, though, as long as no metal touches the inside.

Question 3

Does the pan work on induction?

Accepted Answer

Induction capability depends on the metal in the base of the pan, not on the coating. A simple magnet test lets you check it easily – the cooktop type is also listed above in the specifications.

Question 4

How long does the coating last?

Accepted Answer

With normal use, the recoating lasts for many years. Exactly how long depends on use – hand washing and wooden or silicone utensils significantly extend its lifespan.

Question 5

Is there a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer a one-year warranty on the recoating. In case of manufacturing defects, you can contact us at any time.

Question 6

Which pans can be recoated?

Accepted Answer

Practically all of them – no matter the make, shape or material. Flammable handles or parts must be removable.

Question 7

How long does processing take?

Accepted Answer

This pan is already recoated and available from stock – it is sent to you directly. Recoating your own pans, on the other hand, takes up to six weeks.
